works like a charm, but unfortunately I had to downgrade my iPhone 3G back to iOS 3.1.3 and ExcelSMS doenst support this older iOS version.

Please fix this problem, ExcelContacts can be used without a problem on iOS 3.1.3. Thanks a lot.
